Strategic Planning News and DocumentsFerris State University is an exceptional place of higher education with a long and successful history. In order to maintain and increase our stature, we have embarked upon a strategic planning process to assure that we honor our traditions as we set the best direction for Ferris' future.Comprised of a wide cross-section of the University and headed by Professor Robert von der Osten, the Strategic Planning and Resources Council (SPARC) is steering this important mission. As our strategic plan has taken shape, the SPARC has and will continue to present our ideas to the University through a variety of venues. The information provided here is intended to help facilitate this ongoing discussion. Ever since Woodbridge and Helen Ferris founded our institution in 1884, we have adapted and changed to meet the evolving needs of our students. By embracing the strategic planning process, our stakeholders are taking a deliberate, caring and active part in decisions which will affect the University for years to come. Information will continue to be added to this site as SPARC meets to assure that the University's future lives up to, and exceeds, all it has already accomplished. |
