Ferris State University complements its advertising program with an aggressive public relations and marketing communications plan that includes athletic and non-athletic press releases and photos to local and area radio, television and newspapers; media interviews; promotional materials such as brochures, pamphlets, newsletters, magazines, annual reports, postcards, posters, flyers, athletic media guides and schedule cards; CDs, DVDs, videos, electronic signs, information kiosks and banners; an information-driven Ferris Web site; alumni receptions and other outreach activities to friends and donors of the University and prospective students; special events; and more.
