As Computer Night Operator, Lynn ensures that the computer is available and functioning properly, and monitors and maintains the mainframe and network access. He also diagnoses mainframe and network problems, resolves problems found, or reports to the proper support personnel. Lynn responds to a variety of questions from staff and students concerning new and old software and hardware, generates updated files, computer reports, and special forms for distribution to departments campus-wide.
