Position Title: Surveying Engineering Faculty (9-month Full-Time Tenure Track)

Responsibilities: Teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Surveying Engineering (EAC/ABET accredited) program and in a two-year AAS Surveying Technology program. Teaching responsibilities will be assigned in the areas of surveying, engineering and mapping. Professional involvement such as applied research or active participation in professional organizations. Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include advising students, orientation and registration of students, participation in University committees, keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance. Faculty members may be required to teach off-campus.
Required Qualifications: Masters degree in any areas of surveying, engineering, mapping or related fields. Qualifications to obtain a license as a Professional Surveyor and/or a Professional Engineer as expressed in the current NCEES Model Law.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD in surveying, engineering, mapping or related discipline. Three years of practical field experience. Licensed as a professional surveyor or a professional engineer.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications
