Warren is responsible for providing vision, direction and leadership in the formulation of policies, procedures, systems and strategies to achieve optimal Human Resources services to the University community. He directs and coordinates Human Resources activities for the University, including employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, employee training and professional development, HRIS, and safety.

Dr. Hills is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a mediator/mediator trainer for Michigan’s Community Dispute Resolution Program, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a professional member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources. He is also a board member for the Michigan Universities Coalition on Health, an advisory board member of the Michigan Higher Education Recruitment Consortium, and a past-president of the Michigan College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.
