Yearly Administrative Reviews (YARs)

Department Heads or Chairs, in consultation with program coordinators, are responsible for providing to the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs a YAR: an annual report on the outcomes, assessment methods, data, and changes made based on the evaluation of the collected evidence. These reports provide documentation to external stakeholders about our assessment practices while letting the institution direct resources to support programs in sustaining useful learning outcomes assessment, applying fruitful assessment methods, and making effective use of the gathered data. The Vice President of Academic Affairs Office and the Assessment Committee are responsible for identifying programs that could benefit from additional support and guidance to gain fruitful evidence of their students' learning.
