Strengths
- Internship programs- I feel that Ferris is leading the way in preparing students to enter the workforce by mandating internships.
- Speaker series - By allowing public admittance to speakers and performances we meet criterion 5 by allowing the non-college community to become engaged and take stake claim in the University.
- Class sizes
- Educational RSOs
- FLITE Library - promote study, good resources, and study rooms
- Diversity Planning Committee - promotes fun events, diversified ideas, great student recruitment and involvements.
- Newspaper and community events - connects students and great media.
- Offers hands-on, and on-the-site experience that simulate actual working conditions in the students field
- Professors’ backgrounds are pertinent towards students field of learning
- Ferris offers pre-Job Fair workshop sessions for improving resumes and what needs to be said to ensure success in an interview.
