General Education Requirements for Specific Degrees

Social Awareness Requirement - 9 credit hours

• Choose three Social Awareness courses in at least two different subject areas.
• One of the Social Awareness courses must be a Foundations course.

Note: All bachelor degrees at Ferris require the completion of at least one Social Awareness course at the 200-level or higher; one course that meets the Global Consciousness requirement; and one course that meets the Race/Ethnicity/Gender requirement. For students wishing to continue to a bachelor degree, completion of these requirements within the associate degree is recommended.
