General Education Requirements for Specific Degrees

Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees:

Communication Competence Requirement - 9 credit hours

  • English composition requirement - 6 credit hours
    Choose ENGL 150; and ENGL 250 or ENGL 211
  • Speech communication requirement - 3 credit hours
    Choose one of the following : COMM 105, 121, 200, 201, 221, or 251
