NEW BOAT TO Com. Hamill Remodels the Topinabee to Ply Regularly Between
Petoskey and Harbor Springs. TO BE NAMED PE-TO-SE-GA Topinabee to be Replaced on the Inland Route With a Fine New
Launch. Commodore Hamill, who last week was seriously ill in Cheboygan, returned to his home in Petoskey, Thursday, greatly improved in health. He returned to Cheboygan on Monday to finish work on the Topinabee, which he says will be practically a new boat and will be placed in commission on Little Traverse bay about July 4. The boat has been practically rebuilt from the water line up and will go into commission under the name of the PE-TO-SE-GA, making regular trips between Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The famous Inland Route, over which the old Topinabee made daily trips during the resort season for years, will not be abandoned by Commodore Hamill, as he is having a fine large launch built which will be ready to be placed in commission with the beginning of the summer season on the Inland Route. The commodore, although very ill for
several days in Cheboygan, was seen about the city each day while here.
