'Coolant Line ID'  is the identification of each coolant line connector placed in the mold.  On molds in the 500 ton range, it is possible to have in excess of 30 coolant lines and connectors.  The "ID" is letter stamped in the steel adjacent to the connector, or, a placard ID is attached  near the connector.  

The ID aids the mold set-up personal  to connect the proper "IN/OUT" water lines in an efficient manner.

ID Standard:
Each Coolant Connector on the Mold will  have a stated ID stamped adjacent to the connector on the respective mold plate as follows:
    The ID will begin with "WL" (for Waterline), followed by,
    The plate name, (A,B, or  SP [support plate] etc.) followed by,, 
    A sequential number, then  
    Finally each ID will have an IN or an OUT to indicate the flow direction.

                        WL-A-2-OUT
