Computer resources are available to students within the CLS laboratories. Most of the computers have internet access. You will use a simple laboratory information system during your simulated laboratory course during your last semester on campus. With the LIS, you will be able to print work lists, use the lists to locate specimens, and then enter test results into the LIS when they are completed. The CAHS computer lab provides 26 Pentium class computers with internet access. A laser printer and scanner are available. This laboratory is staffed with student assistants, and is open 57 hours per week (36 hours per week during the summer). Other on-campus computer labs are open additional hours. |
