Undergraduate & Graduate Students

Students must complete a graduation audit with their advisor at least one semester prior to the semester in which they plan to graduate.

Undergraduate Graduation Requirements

Residency (Ferris State University Graduation Credit Requirement): 30 semester hours of Ferris State University classes are required for graduation in all A.A.S., B.S. and B.A.S. degree programs.

Grade Point Averages

The Medical Records Technology Associate’s Degree program requires a 2.00 GPA.

B.S. and B.A.S. degree programs in Digital Animation and Game Design, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Quality Engineering Technology, Product Design Engineering Technology, and Industrial Technology and Management require the following: 2.75 GPA in the major and concentration courses, 2.50 GPA in math classes, and 2.00 overall.

B.S. degree programs in Education require a minimum GPA of 2.50, but have additional GPA requirements in majors, minors, the professional education sequence, and the planned program.

All other Ferris-Grand Rapids B.S. degrees require a 2.00 GPA at graduation.
