CLEP (College Level Examination Program)- If your composite score is 24 or higher on the ACT or 1120 or higher on the SAT and/or your high school grades in special subject areas such as math, science, or history are A's and B's, then you should consider taking these tests for college credit. If your Composite score is less than 23 but you have subject scores of 23 or higher, you should consider taking the CLEP exam in the subject fields in which the score is 23 or higher. Students wishing to take any CLEP examination should make arrangements through the Office of Assessment Services (591-3628).
Proficiency Testing- Students who have sufficient knowledge to challenge the content of a course may do so through proficiency examination. Students wishing to attempt a proficiency examination should be referred to their Dean's Office.

*ENGL 074 is a credit/no credit course, therefore, grade average is not affected.
