  1. Download the Spybot Search & Destroy installation file.


  2. Double-click spybotsd12.exe when the install wizard opens, click Next



  3. Check “I accept the agreement” to accept the License Agreement and click Next.



  4. Press Next to accept to default installation location.



  5. Choose Compact installation (no additional languages) from the drop down box and click Next.



  6. Click Next to accept the default start menu location.



  7. Select additional icons you would like to create and click Next.



  8. Click Install to begin the installation.



  9. Click Finish to complete the installation.
