Ferris State University’s Community Development Model was developed based on the needs of our residential students. The Community Development Model will be the basis for our Resident Advisors to create and develop their programming based on each individual community’s needs. This basis of programming is for the needs of your hall community, in addition to these programs, our Resident Advisors will need to also build and create their house communities. Each house, which comprises each hall as a whole, is an integral aspect to each hall community. Our Residential Community Curriculum works to develop our residential students at the house level as well as the hall level.
