Calla's primary responsibility is supervising the Telecommunications' Customer Service Area. This area provides all telephone, voice mail and campus ID card processing for the campus community. This area also includes the operator center which provides information and directs incoming calls to various offices.
She is responsible for coordinating the Voice Mail System for faculty, staff and students. She enters all users on the system, issues IDs, troubleshoots problems, and sets up voice forms. She also supervises the Michnet accounts for internet access for the campus community. This involves setting up user IDs on the system and working closely with Merit to assure uninterrupted internet access at all times.
