SURE 325 - Principles of GIS

PURPOSE:           To introduce the student to GIS resources that can be found on the internet.

PROCEDURE:    Use an internet browser, recommended to use AltaVista or Dogpile, to search for a topic related to geographic information systems. For guidance, you can use the textbook for topical areas or the list of term paper topics that accompany this class.  Visit 10 sites and describe the content found at each site.  Include the URL with the description.  Students will visit different pages for this assignment.  Submit a report for this lab.
