The Student Poster Board Competition

 Competition Judging Guidelines 
 

• Content (80% of total points awarded):

o   Relevancy of topic

o   Heading which must include the author’s name and title

o   Brief abstract / introduction

o   Visual images to illustrate the topic

o   Citations for all graphics, pictures, and source material

o   Conclusion

o   Mechanics (grammar, spelling, clarity, etc)

•   Design (20% of total points awarded):

o   Visually pleasing

o   Orderly

o   Creativity

•   Plagiarism will result in elimination from the competition.
•   The decisions of the judges of this competition shall be final.
