The Student Poster Board Competition

 Guidelines

General Information

• Poster board competition will be held April 11 – 12, 2008 at Ferris State University in conjunction with the Michigan Energy Conference.  The exhibit site will be determined by the number of entries received.
•  Entry forms must be received by 5:00 pm, March 14, 2008 in order to be considered. 
•  Both Individual and Group entries will be accepted for this competition.  Prizes to be awarded in each division are as follows: 

     1^st place $500
2^nd place $250
3^rd place $125
4^th place $75
5^th place $50. 
(10 main prizes in all). 

All other entries will receive a small cash award calculated upon the total number accepted for the competition.

•  With submission of your entry form to the Michigan Energy Conference, you agree to deliver your poster board to the place, and on the day and time established by the Student-Faculty Promotional Committee. 
• The Student-Faculty Promotional Committee will notify you of acceptance by email no later than March 21, 2008.  At that time, you will be informed where to deliver your poster board.
•  Poster boards must be set up between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm on April 11, 2008.
•  Poster boards must remain in place until 10:30 am on April 12, 2008. 
•  Poster boards remaining after 12:00 pm on April 12, 2008 will be disposed of by the Committee.  The Committee will not be responsible for poster boards or any additional materials left after the stated hours. 
•  Judging will take place at 12:00 pm on April 11, 2008 and the winners will be announced prior to the conference's Guest Speaker presentation on Friday evening, April 11, 2008.
