NOTE: The following scholarships are awarded by the Surveying Engineering faculty. Applications for scholarships are accepted at the end of fall semester. For further information contact the Surveying Engineering Department Chair.
Eligibility: First preference shall be given to an incoming freshman student or transfer student from Oakland or Macomb County . Must be a full-time student in the Surveying Engineering program.
Eligibility: Must be a full-time student in the Surveying Engineering program at FSU. Nontraditional student shall have first priority. Must have at least an average academic status in the program. Junior or senior status shall have first priority. Sponsored students are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility: The recipient must be a full-time student who has demonstrated leadership potential and the capacity to contribute significantly to his or her chosen profession. Preference shall be given to senior students and the scholarship will be awarded the winter semester of the academic year. Recipients shall be a member of either or both of the profession organizations: American Congress on Surveying Mapping, Institute of Navigation . The recipient shall have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Financial need is not a determining criterion. Selection of the recipient rests with the Surveying department faculty.

Potential ability, student desire, and financial need may be considered. West Michigan residents shall have first priority. Sponsored students are not eligible to apply.
Eligibility: Be enrolled full time in the 4-year B.S. degree Surveying Engineering program at FSU and have a sophomore or junior status. Be a United States citizen and a resident of the State of Michigan . Grand Rapids/West Michigan students will have first priority. Maintain at least a 3.0 average academic status in the program. Be a student of the MSPS Student Chapter and demonstrate interest by participation at student, local chapter, and/or state level activities. Sponsored students are not eligible. Internships with Moore & Bruggink, Inc. are encouraged.
Eligibility: Be enrolled at Ferris State University and have a sophomore or junior status in the Surveying program. Be an U.S. citizen and a resident of Michigan at the time of application. Be a member of good standing of the Ferris Burt-Mullett Student Chapter of ACSM and student member of good standing of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors. Have at least a 3.0 grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale) in the Surveying program. Demonstrate participation in offices and positions of leadership in extra-curricular and/or community activities.

Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Michigan at the time of application. Be a member of the Ferris Burt-Mullett Student Chapter of ACSM and a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors. Have at least a 3.0 grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale) in the surveying program. Applicant must also demonstrate participation in offices and positions of leadership in extra curricular and/or community activities.
Eligibility: Must be a full-time junior or senior level student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program and have earned a 3.0 or above GPA. Financial need is not a determining criterion. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership potential. Scholarship funds will be applied directly to the recipient’s University account to cover the costs of tuition, books, and other education-related expenses. Scholarship is renewable and to be considered, current recipients must participate in the selection process in the same manner as all applicants. An internship opportunity will be offered to the scholarship recipient. Responsibility for the selection of the recipient(s) rests with the faculty of the Surveying Engineering program in consultation with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Demonstrate leadership potential and be actively involved in the Burt and Mullett Student Chapter of ASCM. Financial need shall not be considered a determining criterion. Preference shall be given to women and minority students. Responsibility for the selection of the recipient(s) rests with the faculty of the Surveying Engineering program in consultation with Woolpert LLP.
Eligibility: Must be a full-time student enrolled in the Surveying Engineering program and have earned above average academic standing. Preference shall be given to junior and senior level students. Financial need shall be considered a determining criterion. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership potential. Awarded scholarship funds will be equivalent to 25% of the cost of two semesters of tuition and fees. Scholarship funds will be applied to any costs related to attending the University including tuition, books, and other education-related expenses. Lesser amounts may be awarded as deemed appropriate. Eligibility for the second semester of scholarship funding is contingent on the recipient continuing to meet the scholarship criteria. The scholarship is renewable. To be considered, current recipients must participate in the selection process in the same manner as all applicants. Responsibility for the selection of the recipient(s) rests with the faculty of the Surveying Engineering program in consultation with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Eligibility: A high school senior and resident of Michigan . A citizen of the United States at the time of application. Have at least a 3.0 grade point average (based on 4.0 scale) for the 10 th and 11 th grades. Attain test scores of Math-600 and Verbal-500 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and test scores of Math-29 and Verbal-25 on the American College Testing Program (ACT).
