Mecosta/Osceola Intermediate School District Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Vocational Program

Students in the HVACR vocational program learn about the installation, maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial buildings. HVACR Technicians are in high demand and can start out at above average salaries in the construction and HVACR service field. Technicians repair, service, and maintain a wide variety of equipment from residential heating and cooling to commercial air conditioning, air furnaces, supermarket equipment and refrigeration freight trailers. This program is run in conjunction with Ferris State University HVACR Department under the direction of adjunct professor Bob Persons..
