Program Focus

Ferris State university's MBA teaches the concepts and processes that have demonstrated their worth in enhancing organizational performance worldwide. This base of knowledge is key in modern business as they strive to remain vital and competitive in today's global economy. The goal of the Ferris MBA is translating these competencies and skills into a curriculum that promotes organization values and processes that contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives. The learning experience is facilitated by an instructional process that models the concepts, provides the conceptual underpinnings and promotes their application.

The Ferris MBA is built around Performance Management concepts, the Balanced Scorecard and the seven criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence. Consistent with the MBNQA criteria, the program focuses on leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, information and analysis, human resources, process management and business results.

International students are not able to enroll in our on-line MBA program due to Section 8 CFR 214.2(f)(6)(i)(G) of the INS Federal Register, which states that no more than the equivalent of one on-line/distance education class or 3 credits per semester may be counted toward the full course of study requirement.
