Minimum Requirements for Enrollment

  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
  • For the MS-ISM, overall undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 or better on a 4-point scale
  • For the MBA, a 3.0 GPA or better is required in the last 60 credits
  • Official GMAT score of 500 or higher, OR official GRE score in the upper 50% with a 2.5 or higher on the analytical writing portion. (Test Requirement may be waived if applicant has completed another Master's degree, or at the discretion of the application review committee).

Admission to a graduate program is granted to students showing high promise of success. The College of Business uses various measures of high promise including the candidate's performance on the graduate admission test and upper-division grade-point average. Such measures, along with other reasonable indications of promise, will be used in combination to arrive at a final judgment.

Application Requirements

To be considered for admission to the Graduate Programs, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Completed application.
  • Official course transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate colleges and universities previously attended.
  • A current resume.
  • A one page writing sample/statement of purpose stating your reasons for seeking admission into either the MBA or the MS-ISM Program.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • GMAT / GRE

Additional Requirements for International Students

Copy of identification pages(s) of your passport.

Confidential Financial Statement signed by you or your sponsor.

Original official bank statement from you or your sponsor representing funds for at least one academic year.

Official TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) score from ETS. Minimum score is 500 (paper-based) or 173 (computer-based).

MS-ISM Applications:

  • February 15 - for starting summer semester in May
  • June 15 - for starting fall semester in August
  • October 15 - for starting winter semester in January

Applications may be accepted past deadlines if no international mailing or application for Visa is required.
