John Engelman Awarded Honorary Doctorate from Ferris:

At the May 2003 graduation ceremonies, John Engelman (AAS '64) received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, Ferris State University. Engelman, a Michigan native, has for much of his career worked in the area of plastics technology first at Dow Corning and then at Dow Chemical, both in Midland, MI. Several years ago he moved to Racine WI to S.C. Johnson as a Senior Scientist. Also, several years ago he was president of the ACS Technician Section. He is an active advocate of the University and of the ICT Program and comes yearly to the school for recruiting purposes. Congratulations Dr. Engleman!!
