ICT Web Site Keeps Students and Alumni Connected

Just nine months after its launch, the Industrial Chemistry Technology newsletter Web site received its 1,000th hit. The site, has served several useful purposes. In addition to being an informational recruiting tool for prospective high-school science students, it is a convenient reference source for ICT students, providing them with relevant informational links. It has also facilitated contact between Ferris ICT alumni and the current program.

Several alumni-submitted articles can be found there. The Web site was originally synthesized by Kelley Templin, AAS ’02, and Pasquale Di Raddo, professor of chemistry, as a result of the generous support of the Dow Chemical Foundation and the encouragement of Mechelle Churchfield andDavid Dellar, employees of Dow Chemical in Midland and Ferris State alumni.
