Dow Chemical Company Continues Support of ICT Program:

Through the coordinating efforts of Mechelle Chruchfield (AAS '89), the Dow Chemical Company Foundation of Midland, MI recently approved a grant totaling $25,800 for the 2001-2002 academic year to Ferris's Industrial Chemistry Technology program. A major portion of the grant was in the awarding of four scholarships for deserving students in the ICT program. The remainder was allocated for the support of undergraduate ICT student research, coordinated by Pasquale Di Raddo and Bill Killian, professors of Chemistry, ICT course development, instrument maintenance for the ICT laboratories and ICT website maintenance. "We are very appreciative of the Foundation's interest in our institution and also hope that our relationship will continue to grow for the benefit of both Dow and Ferris State," said Killian and Jeff Harrington of the Foundation Grant Committee.
