American Marketing Association
A.M.A is an organization whose membership is dedicated to the advancement of science in marketing and related areas. The collegiate chapter program is undertaken to promote professionalism and practical education to business students.
The varied activities of the Ferris collegiate chapter are intended to provide students with insight into the practice of varied marketing activities by stimulating their thinking, widening their knowledge, broadening their outlook, and developing a better understanding of marketing and its relation to business and the free enterprise system.
As in any undertaking, the individual student will derive from the activities of the chapter in proportion to what has been contributed to the chapter. Some activities include the following:
- helping various charity fund drives
- taking trips to representative businesses around the state
- developing social activities
- creating group participation and fund raising activities throughout the year.
