    The President of the PGMSA is the liaison of the student association with Ferris State University, PGA of America, and the Professional Golf Management office.  The President is responsible for overlooking all activities and operations that the organization is involved with and also leads and conducts weekly meetings for the student organization.  The President is responsible for the future and ongoing success of the student body that is involved with Professional Golf Management.  The president ensures that our students are offered the best resources and opportunities for them to grow into their professional careers.

    The Vice President is second in line behind the PGMSA President.  He/She must work with the E-board (President, Treasurer, and Secretary) to be in charge of PGMSA and run the meetings, events, tournaments, etc.  The main job of the Vice President is to be the head of all of the PGMSA Committees. At meetings, the Vice President’s responsibility is to announce each committee and let the committee heads discuss their order of business.  He/She should hold committee head meetings at least twice a month, or as often as necessary to make sure all that are involved are kept on track.  Finally, he/she must be able to run the PGMSA meeting in the event that the President is not available.

    The Treasurer of the PGMSA is responsible for all of the monetary transactions that occur within the organization.  He/she is responsible for collecting dues, writing checks, depositing money, keeping a ledger of account balance and organizing all of the financial documents (ex. bank statements and receipts).

    The Secretary’s responsibilities are to keep detailed notes and minutes of each meeting.  These notes will then serve as an updated reminder to discuss again in the next meeting held.  The minutes should also be posted on the FerrisConnect website for all of the PGMSA members to view at their own leisure.   He/she is also responsible for keeping members updated on up and coming events such as seminars and university functioned events.  He/She is also responsible for keeping a record of a summary for each event.
