Lynnae Selberg

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES AND AREAS OF INTEREST:

Mrs. Selberg is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Social Worker. She serves as the Educational Counselor in the College of Business. In this role, she is the initial contact person for all incoming students (first year and/or transfer students). She assists in the transition to Ferris State University and particularly to the College of Business. She is the "listening ear" to any Business student, first year through senior year, with regard to personal issues, academic issues, or any other concern.

She came to Ferris State University in 2008 but has worked at other colleges & universities in Michigan for the past 10 years. She worked as the Associate Registrar at Albion College, Advising Coordinator, Director of Student Services, Director of Enrollment and Director of Retention at Davenport University. She has experience working in the areas of admissions, orientation, first year experience, student records, student code of conduct, advising, student financial services, disability services, career service and customer services. She enjoys interacting with students, assisting them so they may successfully navigate the educational system through to graduation.
