Student OrganizationsClub Managers Association of AmericaClub Managers Association of America (CMAA) is the professional organization for managers of membership clubs. Here on campus, it is a registered student organization open to students in the Sports, Entertainment, and Hospitality Management Department who are working to achieve a minor in Club Management. The Club Management minor prepares students to pursue careers with country clubs, athletics clubs, yacht clubs, and more. The objectives of CMAA are to promote communication and networking between club managers and students interested in the field, as well as information and idea sharing between other student chapters of the organization. The student branch attends local senior branch meetings, invites in guest speakers, conducts club tours, and attends regional student conference as well as the annual World Conference. Our chapter meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in West Commons building room 109, however due to conflicting schedules alternate meetings dates are sometimes necessary.
