College of Business Admission Requirements for Transfer Students

• To be directly admitted to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program:

  • With an Associate Degree

    Must evidence a 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale) grade point average of college level work

  • With 24 or more semester credits earned

    Must evidence a 2.00 (on a 4.00 scale) grade point average for college level course work and complete at least the equivalent to Ferris State University's ENGLISH 150, ENGLISH 250, CULTURAL ENRICHMENT or SOCIAL AWARENESS COURSE, MATH 115, LABORATORY SCIENCE COURSE, ECONOMICS 221, ACCOUNTING 201, and STATISTICS 260

  • With 12-23 semester credits earned

    Must evidence a 2.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) for college level course work and complete at least the equivalent to Ferris State University's ENGLISH 150, MATH 115 or higher, and a CULTURAL ENRICHMENT or SOCIAL AWARENESS course

  • With less than 12 semester credits earned

    Will be admitted under the freshmen admission requirements

• To be admitted to an Associate Degree:

  Must have completed 12 or more semester credits with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (excluding developmental courses such as UNIV or READ), and have completed at least the equivalent to Ferris State University's ENGLISH 150, CULTURAL ENRICHMENT or SOCIAL AWARENESS COURSE, MATH 110 (or higher), and a LABORATORY SCIENCE COURSE.

  Note: FSU transfer policy requires all courses be "C" grades or higher
