February 10, 2017
The PGA Golf Management program at Ferris State University has announced a $4 million dollar fundraising campaign to build a state-of-the-art learning center that includes a more functional indoor practice facility for year-round golfing instruction and practice. In addition, the facility will house the future home of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.
The 7,000 square foot learning center will include; the latest technology for students and guests including TrackMan and video analysis software, 10 enclosed and heated hitting bays, a 750 square foot indoor putting green and the future home of the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame.
The PGA Golf Management program was the first program of its kind sanctioned by the PGA of America in 1975. The 4 and a half year program blends on-campus study with work in a cooperative education partnership to create a curriculum that prepares students for all aspects of the professions.
Donors to the campaign will shape the futures of the Ferris PGA Golf Management program, the lives of students and the profession of golf management.
