2013 ADDY Awards
The 2013 West Michigan ADDY Awards were held at the Grand Rapids Art Museum on Thursday, February 21. The Ferris State University Graphic Design program participants enjoyed a successful night.
The ADDY Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. Over 60,000 entries are received every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
Transformation Identity, designed by Anne Sutton, won a Gold ADDY. Small Town Studio Identity also won a Gold ADDY. The student designers were Kate Dupon, Anne Sutton, Stephanie Demarest, Craig Cockerill, and Sarah Todd.
A Silver ADDY was awarded to the Student Advancement Foundation for their Mindshare 2012 Event Materials. This was a product of the Design Project Center. Student designers were Lynn Overmyer, Scott Deca, Kathryn Bell, Samantha Martin, and Ben Bialek.
