Program Requirements
Admission Requirements
Students wishing to enroll in the PTM program at Ferris State University must have a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) from high school and an ACT score of 19 or above in math or an ACT of 19 or above in reading.
Students must also have ONE of the following: USTA district ranking, an NTRP of 4.0, or a proven ability at the high-school level. A letter of reference from a USPTA professional, tennis coach or school administrator verifying playing ability is required. Students are requested to submit playing ability verification and letter of reference directly to the PTM offices.

Graduation Requirements
Graduation requires a minimum 2.0 GPA in major courses, business core courses and overall. Students must also obtain a USPTA P-2 teaching certification in order to graduate. PTM students must also satisfy all general education requirements of Ferris State University.
How to Apply
An application can be submitted on-line and the application fee is waived, or download a paper copy. Applications may also be obtained at the offices of Michigan high school and community college counselors.
