PMI Team Proceeds to Competition Finals
March 27th, 2014The Project Management Institute (PMI) team, coached by Ferris instructor Dan Tuuri, will participate in the last round of the Project Management Institute’s “The Project” competition on April 14 at Davenport University. The Western Michigan Collegiate Project Management Competition invites teams of 3 – 6 students to compete for cash prizes and paid internships. November 16th, 2012Negotiating Advancement in a Troubled Economic Environment By: Amy Hughes Professor Beverly DeMarr co-authored a textbook, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. DeMarr partnered with Suzanne de Janaz, a professor from IMD in Switzerland. Pearson published the textbook in January. Negotiation and Dispute Resolution addresses negotiations and dispute resolution in a wide variety of settings. By combining theoretical foundations with experiential exercises, the book helps students develop their ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in both personal and professional settings. An article that is a spinoff from the book has been picked up worldwide.
