Graphic designers communicate with meaningful ideas and a skillful combination of typography, photography, hand-drawn illustration and computer-generated images. They create brochures, logos, websites, magazines, books, catalogs, signs, exhibits, billboards, screen interfaces, television graphics, T-shirts, posters, business cards, CD covers, postcards and any other visual medium. Graphic design is a tool for business and society that informs, inspires and educates. Everywhere you look graphic design is there.
The curriculium requires nine credits of graphic design specific courses each semester and includes a selection of courses from College of Business core. Because of this the program is excluded from ACBSP accreditation.
