Professional activities and areas of interest
A 2000 graduate of the Ferris’ PGA Golf Management program, Aaron’s first job in golf was as a teenager caddying at Monroe Golf & Country Club. He has been an Assistant Professional at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Director of Golf Operations and NCAA Head Women’s Golf Coach at Trine University, and Head Golf Professional at Sylvania Country Club in Ohio. He returned to Ferris State in 2010 and took over as the Manager/Head Golf Professional at Katke Golf Course. Aaron works closely with the PGA Golf Management program both in and out of the classroom, in addition to being involved with Katke’s learning center. He is very passionate about the program and enjoys interacting with the prospects, current students, and alumni of the PGA Golf Management on a daily basis.
