Professional activities and areas of interest
Professor Buse joined Ferris State University in August of 1995 as the Computer Resource Manager for the Business/Technology Consortium . During her five years as a manager, she had responsibility for all computer related functions for both the College of Business and the College of Technology. In August of 2000 she joined the Computer Information Systems Department as a faculty member.
Prior to coming to Ferris, Amy had 13 years experience teaching math and computer science.
Professor Buse's area of interest is in networking, and she loves helping students discover how networks function. Professor Buse believes that all students can succeed, and she uses a learner centered approach in her classroom, striving to ensure that students will "learn how to learn."
