The Computer Information Technology Systems Administration & Security program is designed for students who want to work in the business world and provide technical assistance for computer systems and users. Individual business departments, corporations, and multi-national enterprises need professionals that can apply their technical and problem solving skills to address computer systems issues within the business environment.

The CIT-SAS curriculum provides you with a broad understanding of core business functions, in addition to skills required for entry level positions including computer support specialist, help-desk technician, network and computer systems administrator, and computer security specialist.

This curriculum prepares you for industry certifications such as CompTIA, A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, and Microsoft's MCITP or MCTS certifications. Students must pass the CompTIA's A+ certification, and two of the following industry certifications (MCITP, Network+, Linux+, Security+, CNA, or CCNA) to graduate from the CIT program. Additional certifications are encouraged.
