Committees within the PTM Student Association
Consists of three to five individuals and is the highest governing body in the PTMSA.
Schedules, organizes and informs the members of upcoming social events such as the Welcome party, bowling, Christmas party, End of the Year party and various other activities.
Promotes and furthers the Associations knowledge of the tennis industry and usage of the library/resource center. Students get together and enjoy pizza while viewing tennis videos.
Organizes activities such as Kids Night Out, that raise money to fund events, tournaments, and projects.
Promotes involvement in all team activities offered by the University and appoints captains for teams involved.
Public Relations Committee:
Promotes and expands the PTM program within the tennis industry, university, and community by keeping members updated on current events within the PTMSA through quarterly newsletters.
Schedules and organizes competitive events for the PTMSA such as the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine and Easter mixers, and encourages members to play outside tournaments.
The PTMSA is comprised of dues paying individuals. In order to benefit from the privileges associated with membership and be in good standing, the PTMSA students must not have any outstanding dues. There are two ways to pay dues:
Pay $45.00 in one installment each school year within the first five weeks of Fall semester.
Pay $25.00 at the beginning of each semester enrolled in the Association.
Allocation of Funds:
Funds may be allocated in two manners. They are as follows: 1. Majority votes by the PTMSA members present. 2. Unanimous vote by the Executive Board when a general membership meeting isn’t possible.
