Ferris Public Relations to Host Meet & Greet & Eat
October 24, 2018
The Ferris State Public Relations program is hosting a Meet & Greet & Eat on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. in IRC 107. There will be pizza and pop, games, prizes, and a chance to meet professors and current students.
The Ferris Public Relations (PR) motto is “Go anywhere! Do what you love!” This event will highlight that theme as attendees create an airplane and make a few stops along the way. Public Relations professionals wear many hats; some of the things PR people do are social media, writing, event planning, and relationship building.
Public Relations is one of the fastest growing professions in the U.S. and Ferris State University is one of two nationally certified PR programs based in the College of Business in the entire United States. Students who would like to know more about Public Relations or explore what it offers as a career is encouraged to attend this event. More information can be found at the College of Business Facebook page.
Anyone with a disability who needs special accommodations to attend this event should contact Patrick Bishop at 231.591.3151 or [email protected] at least 72 hours in advance. Ferris State University is an equal opportunity institution. For information on the University’s Policy on Non-Discrimination, visit ferris.edu/non-discrimination.
