Professional activities and areas of interest

Maggie Brown joined the Ferris CIS program as an adjunct faculty member in the fall of 2013. Maggie is a Magna cum laude graduate from Ferris State University’s College of Education. Maggie is also an adjunct instructor for Baker College of Muskegon and Fremont locations in the Information Systems Department. Maggie has worked as a Corporate Trainer for many western and northern Michigan companies as well as does freelance graphic and web design through her own business. Maggie is the creator of the Award Winning Career Pathways Board Game©. Maggie was the first MCOATT (Michigan Consortium for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching with Technology) Award winner at Ferris State University in 2004 as well as recognized by Senator Carl Levin and the State of Michigan. Areas of personal interest include art, music, technology, travel, family and friends.
