The Ferris State University industry and business degree program curriculum includes
required course work in general education and professional education. This industry
and business degree program does not lead to teacher certification.
Training Industry and Business College Graduates Get Great Jobs
Graduates of the Industry and Business degree program posses strong basic academic
skills, specialized technical skills, are able to communicate effectively and are
well versed in instructional design, development and technology. Business and industry
leaders seek out business degree graduates because they are so uniquely equipped with
a balance of solid liberal arts and world-renowned technical, hands-on education.

High school students and college students transferring into the business and industry
degree with 29 credit hours or less must possess a high school grade point average
of 2.25 (on a 4.0 scale) or an ACT composite score of 15. Students wishing to transfer
into the business and industry degree program with 30 credit hours or more must possess
a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students transferring into the Training in Business and Industry
program with completed majors or minors must have the appropriate GPA as established

The industry and business degree program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree through
the School of Education, College of Education & Human Services. Graduates of the business
and industry degree program must complete all of Ferris State's general education,
training in business and industry degree, and college education requirements. Professional
college education requirements include a semester of directed student teaching. Consult

About Ferris State University: College classes including our Business and Industry degree program, are taught at
all levels by professional teachers, not graduate assistants. College students that
major in Business and Industry at Ferris State University, study in more than 170

Seven of the Ferris State Michigan colleges are based in Big Rapids, Michigan - Allied

The group presentation, by one of our admissions recruiters, includes information
on academic offerings, scholarships, housing, student life, and costs. A question
and answer period follows the presentation and includes a few surprises! Lunch is
provided at one of our well known dining facilities on campus. After lunch, guests
may take part in a walking tour of campus led by one of our exceptional student guides.
The walking tour takes approximately 1 hour.
