The Theatre Area is a program of the Department of Humanities designed for all students regardless of experience and background to explore their creative side through participation in theatre both in the classroom and on stage. In addition to a theatre minor the area produces three productions each year including a musical in either the fall or spring semester.

The theatre minor is an asset to those students majoring in Television and Digital Media Production, Education, Recreation, Music Industry Management, Communication and Business; providing hands-on skills in role playing, directing, and scenic construction. Participating in theatre productions is a great way to meet friends while devloping presentation, teamwork, and leadership skills.
