Ferris History Panel

We are fortunate to have so many individuals who are passionate about Ferris History. A few of these historians joined us on Founders' Day for a discussion of noted moments in our history. Panel members included:
Richard Santer, "Mr. Ferris" is almost as much of an icon in Ferris history as Woodbridge Ferris. Dr. Santer served Ferris State University from 1969 to 1996 in the geography department. He provided the leadership and organization of the Ferris Centennial Observance in 1983-84.
Robert Leach has served in many capacities at Ferris including the coach of the 1968 undefeated football team. Robert currently serves as vice president of the Ferris Emeriti Association. He and his wife Mary Louise host the annual Sarasota Luncheon during January.
Larry Martin is the University archivist emeritus. Serving Ferris for over 40 years, Mr. Martin retired from the archives in 2002.
Ray Dickinson recently retired after 38 years with Ferris. His most notable accomplishments include the establishment of the patent library at Ferris. Mr. Dickinson is currently working on a comprehensive directory of all employees who ever served at Ferris.
