The Admissions Office at Ferris State University is looking for someone like you! We currently have positions open for our Student Ambassador RSO for the 2010-2011 school year.
This organization is an amazing way to use and develop your leadership skills while helping prospective Ferris students learn more about the University and get a taste of what is like to be …you…A Ferris State University Student.

What's it all about? As a Student Ambassador you would be involved in the following:
- Providing campus tours to prospective students and their families during the week
- Providing campus tours to prospective students and their families and act as a student Q & A panel at Dawg Days
- Host prospective students overnight (Thursday) to help them experience Ferris first hand
- Perform limited travel throughout the State to assist and welcome new students at New Student Receptions
In addition you can have the opportunity to:
- Create and maintain a Blog to journal your experiences as a Ferris student
- Video record campus events for Video-Casts
- Create voice recordings about various Ferris experiences for Podcasts
And most importantly…
- Have fun meeting new people, gaining new experiences, and being the face of Ferris State University .
What do you need to become a Student Ambassador? You must:
- Have completed one or more semester(s) at Ferris State University
- Be a full-time student with a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA
- Reside in a residence hall (or be willing to do so while an ambassador)
- Have moderate knowledge of FSU history, student life, and academic programs
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to speak to groups of people
- Have an outgoing personality
- Possess an abundance of school spirit!

This is a prestigious student position on campus. The mission of the Student Ambassador group is held in high regards campus wide as they often act as the first and sometimes only impression that a prospective student receives of Ferris State University .
