The
purpose of the Student Employment Program is to assist students
in meeting some of their expenses through employment and to
provide an orderly process through which students are hired
on campus.
The
material in this handbook has been prepared to assist both
campus supervisors and student employees with the policies
and procedures pertaining to the employment of students at
the Ferris State University campus. Other than a few procedural
differences, the policies and guidelines in this handbook
apply equally to Work Study, and Non-Work Award student employees.
SE&CS
reports to the Financial Aid Office, which is a part of Enrollment
Services. SE&CS also handles off-campus employment to
better serve the students who utilize the services provided.
SE&CS
is responsible for posting the open job positions,
processing referral and hiring forms and for inputting the students
into the payroll system.
