The following scholarship opportunities are available to students enrolled at Ferris State University in the Doctorate of Community College Leadership Program. Please keep in mind that students starting the program in the summer will need to file a FAFSA for the prior academic year and the upcoming academic year. For example, students starting in the summer of 2013, will need to complete the 2012-2013 FAFSA and the 2013-2014 FAFSA.
Applicants for KCP Future Faculty Fellowship Awards must be in a degree program that facilitates a career in postsecondary education. The intent of the FFF Program is to increase the pool of qualified underrepresented faculty candidates and does not encourage awards to persons already having master’s or doctorate degrees.
The award amount varies per year.

Students who are enrolled in the Masters' programs in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and the Doctorate in Community College Leadership (DCCL) may apply for this scholarship. The recipient will be chosen based on their financial need as determined by the completion of the FAFSA. Students will need to write an essay explaining how he or she expects to contribute to advancing excellence in education.
The award amount will cover the cost of 12 credit hours over the course of one year at the current tuition rate for the appropriate program.
It is a one-time, non-renewable award.
