Articulation Signing Procedures: Post-Secondary Articulation

Each articulation agreement is to be announced to the Ferris community via "FYI" and outside the campus community by contacting Shelly Armstrong, University Advancement & Marketing.

Gifting
The articulation coordinator, located in the Office of Admissions and Records, will provide a supply of gifts to be presented for all official signing ceremonies. Each college is to coordinate its needs with the articulation coordinator.

Signing Ceremony
The following list outlines the procedures to be followed when considering an official signing ceremony for a newly developed articulation agreement. An official signing ceremony is one in which Ferris faculty and administrators travel to the off campus site in order to sign the articulation agreement.

  1. In-State Community Colleges
    Off Campus programming:The Dean from each respective college (UCEL, FSU-GR) must be consulted and will determine if a signing ceremony is warranted, feasible, etc., and will determine the level and allocation of costs associated with the planning, coordinating, travel, gifting, and promotion of the official signing ceremony. Costs incurred for signings are the responsibility of each respective college entering into the articulation agreement.On Campus programming:The Dean from each respective college (COAHS, COA&S, COB, COE/HS, COT) must be consulted and will determine if a signing ceremony is warranted, feasible, etc., and will determine the level and allocation of costs associated with the planning, coordinating, travel, gifting, and promotion of the official signing ceremony. Costs incurred for signings are the responsibility of each respective college entering into the articulation agreement.


  2. In-State Colleges and Universities
    The Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs must be consulted and will determine if a signing ceremony is warranted, feasible, etc., and will determine the level and allocation of costs associated with the planning, coordinating, travel, gifting, and promotion of the official signing ceremony. Assignment of costs incurred for signings will be determined by the Office of the President and/or the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.


  3. Out-of-State Community Colleges, Colleges and Universities
    The Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs must be consulted and will determine if a signing ceremony is warranted, feasible, etc., and will determine the level and allocation of costs associated with the planning, coordinating, travel, gifting, and promotion of the official signing ceremony. Assignment of costs incurred for signings will be determined by the Office of the President and/or the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.


  4. International Educational Institutions
    The Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs must be consulted and will determine if a signing ceremony is warranted, feasible, etc., and will determine the level and allocation of costs associated with the planning, coordinating, travel, gifting, and promotion of the official signing ceremony. Assignment of costs incurred for signings will be determined by the Office of the President and/or the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
